trip to haridwar , yamnotri , gangotri, rishikesh on 31/05/11 part 1

My plan was to complete char dham in two trip so I decided that first I will do Yamunotri and Gangotri and in second trip Kedarnath and Badrinath

Day 1 - Boarded the LTT-Haridwar
Day 2 -  Haridwar
Day 3 - Barkot
Day 4 -Barkot - Yamnotri - Barkot
Day 5 -Barkot -Harsil
Day 6 -Harsil - Gangotri - Uttarkashi
Day 7 -Uttarkashi - Rishikesh
Day 8 - Rishikesh - Haridwar
Day 9 - Mumbai

30th may 2011 –In the morning 6.00 am  took  the auto to reach lokmanya terminus to catch the trian  - LTT-Haridwar special , . its complete  Ac train .The journey was as such comfortable , there was no pantary in the train , there was problem for good food to get from the stations , as it was a super fart train there was limited stoppage and distance between two stoppage for more than 4 hrs .it was good that we have packed good amount of food from home .

31th may 2011 – reached Haridwar on time 1.20pm , .it was hot , we have already  booked gvmn hotel Rahi  from internet . its was near to station . we walked to the hotel with our luggage . checked in the hotel . got freshed  up . took the cycle rikshaw  to the cable car for mansadevi . there was package for both mansadevi and chandi devi  drashan for Rs -185.00 per person   . we opted for both . soon we were in the cable car to Mansadevi , had the darshan  and returned back . from there jeep was ready to take you to the base for Chandidevi temple , its around 10min . reached the re and took again the cable car to Chandidevi temple , had darshan and returned  . on the returned we dropped at Har ki pauri  for  evening  arti , there was too much crown for the arthi , so we returned to hotel
