Trip to Vaishnodevi , Dalhousie and Mcleodganj part 2

we  reached Jammu at to catch the Malva express 9.00 am and reached chakki bank 11.00 am . Taxi was waiting for us which I prebooked from Dalhousie taxi stand .soon we were on road to Dalhousie . we reached Dalhousie at and checked in Hotel ManiMahesh

 . relaxed for the day .arranged the taxi from the taxi stand for tomorrow visit to kalatop , khajjiyar . chamba and day after tomorrow to Macleodganj for Rs-4000.00

We started for kalatope at . they charged rs200 for taking the car inside the forest

. the drive was nice with big pine trees on both side . the road was one way . we had breakfast of magi inside the restaurant in kalatope .
We reached khajjiyar at .




enjoyed the horse riding .
Little away from Khajjiyar there is this temple

We reached laxminath temple Chamba  at . we had lunch at langar at 1st floor of temple

Next we visited Bhadrakali Mandir at Bhalai

At Bhalai ., boating has started on the Chamer lake . Boating is managed by Mystic Boat Cruises . They have 30 seater Luxury Boat and a speed boat which runs up to 80Km/hrs . They charged Rs-250 per person for 60 min
birds on the trees

Day - 5 02/11/11 In the morning had the breakfast at Hotel Brown itself . Booked the Travera for drop to Srinagar for Rs-2000.00 , On the way visited the bat factory , On the way visited Avantipore ruin .Its is about 30 km from Srinagar on Srinagar-Jammu National Highway. Its an ancient capital city of Avantipora founded by Rajaj Avantivarman.Its also famous for its two imposing temples, now in ruins, built by him. The temple was constructed by Lalitaditya , the Brahmin emperor of Kashmir, and King Awantivarman .This is an historic temple built by Awanti Warman from whom the place got its name as Awantipora. The place is usually misrecognized by the people saying Pandavas place because the material used in building this place is usually panadava stones. That's why people misrecognize it.
