Day 8 5/11/11 Today we have kept for local sightseeing and market . first we started with Shankaracharya temple The Shankaracharya temple is situated in the Srinagar district on the hill known as Takht-e-Suleiman. It is housed at a height of 1100 ft. above surface level of the main city on the hill. It is believed that Raja Gopadatya got the temple constructed in 371 BC, giving it the name of Gopadri. Trip to Vaishnodevi , Dalhousie and Mcleodganj part 2

November 11,2010 we  reached Jammu at 8.30 am to catch the Malva express 9.00 am and reached chakki bank 11.00 am . Taxi was waiting for us which I prebooked from Dalhousie taxi stand .soon we were on road to Dalhousie . we reached Dalhousie at 1.30 pm and checked in Hotel ManiMahesh   . relaxed for the day .arranged the taxi from the taxi stand for tomorrow visit to kalatop , khajjiyar . chamba and day after tomorrow to Macleodganj for Rs-4000.00 November 12,2010 We started for kalatope at 8.00 am . they charged rs200 for taking the car inside the forest to view thw vedio for drive to kalatpoe click here map of kalatop . the drive was nice with big pine trees on both side . the road was one way . we had breakfast of magi inside the restaurant in kalatope .
